Clifford B. Holt scrapbooks, 1941-1954.

This collection consists of three scrapbooks created by Clifford B. Holt, Jr. of photographs of buildings on the Penn State campus and photographs of State College, Pennsylvania, and nearby Tussey Mountain, McAlevys Fort, and Bald Eagle Mountain. There are also pictures of student activities, including a track meet against Colgate University and Spring Week Carnival staged by the students May 12-13, 1954, featuring many students (mostly women) performing song and dance routines.

The Pennsylvania Humanities Council designated the year 1985 as "The Year of the Pennsylvania Writer." The PHC funded projects in eight locations throughout the Commonwealth to gain appreciation, understanding, and recognition for past and present Pennsylvania writers.
